This little gem of a location has been unofficially named “Green Hills” and is located just south west of downtown Nashville. It’s northern border is the I440 and it’s west border is I70S. It’s southern border is Harding Place.

A big draw for residences of Green Hills is the 5 minute drive to three major Nashville Universities; Belmont, Lipscomb and Vanderbilt in addition to being in close proximity to downtown Nashville.

It is not incorporated which means it is not a municipality represented by any official representatives and so it falls under the jurisdiction of the Metro Government of Nashville and Davidson County. This also means that residence and commercial mailing address’s are labeled “Nashville” instead of “Green Hills”.

Some venues to be sure to visit include the famous and iconic Bluebird Cafe where many famous musicians and songwriters such as Keith Urban, Garth Brooks, LeAnn Rimes, John Prine, Maren Morris and Taylor Swift have performed just to name a few. It is also a key plot line feature for the 2012 reality show “Nashville”.

The Mall at Green Hills is filled with posh stores, including Nordstrom, and restaurants. A famous style clothing venue not located inside the mall is H. Audrey that have been frequented by celebs such as Faith Hill and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Many of the homes of Green Hills were built in the 1930’s and consist of brick ranch style homes situated on large lots. Many of the large lots have been sub-divided to accommodate new residential construction.
