Here we all are. Looking at the future as if in a daze. I think we’ve just lived through the Twilight Zone. Does it feel that way to you too? Moving forward must be like how a toddler feels taking those first steps. Wobbly, exciting, scary and with a whole lot of effort.
Now of course there are those who have worked tirelessly through this entire trial. Thanks to all of them. They are worthy of a very nice vacation!
But for everyone else getting this economy going again is going to be like the good ‘ol push mower. You dust it off, push it out of the shed, check the fluids and then roll up your sleeves. This part is never easy. Take a hold of the string and start to give it the pull of your life. Usually at least three times depending on how old your mower is.
Finally, you hear the roar of the engine and your off. Good thing because the grass has grown. It’s time to get things back in order. After the dust settles you can finally sit down, have a glass of lemonade, not lemon juice, and breathe. A job well done. The sun sets and the sound of your friends arriving at your house to hang out again – without masks on – gives you a great big smile.
